Why Men’s Mental Health Matters Now More Than Ever

1 in 4 men will experience a mental health challenge, but too many suffer in silence. Let’s change that.

Mental health is something we all need to talk about more, and we want to shine a light on men’s mental health, a topic that’s often overlooked, yet urgently important.

Every year, over 800,000 people die by suicide—that’s one life lost every 40 seconds. In Canada, 75% of suicides are committed by men, with the highest rates among men aged 40–59.

These aren’t just statistics. They’re real people. These aren’t just individuals in crisis. Fathers. Sons. Brothers. Friends. Many of them are high-functioning, successful, and silently struggling.

Let’s start talking. Let’s start healing

BREAKING THE SILENCE

We believe in the power of open, honest, heart-opening dialogue. That’s why we’re on a mission to host 50 Men’s Mental Health Matters events across British Columbia this year and beyond.

These gatherings are designed to break the stigma and create a safe space where men can share their stories, support each other, and access the tools they need to thrive.

Whether it's a workplace, team, or community setting, we’ll guide the conversation and bring the resources. You bring the people.

Every Event Is a Safe Space for Real Talk

Our in-person events across British Columbia are designed to foster deep, meaningful conversations in a supportive, judgment-free space. Whether you're hosting in your workplace, community center, or local venue, our team will guide you through every step to ensure an impactful experience.

Here’s what you and your participants can expect:

✅ 60–90 minutes of guided conversation
✅ Opening grounding or mindfulness exercise
✅ Stories from men who’ve navigated mental health challenges
✅ Supportive, non-judgmental space
✅ Q&A and discussion time
✅ Learn the proven tools to achieve optimal mental and physical health

This is not your typical mental health seminar. It’s a genuine and powerful conversation designed to build connection, break stigma, and spark healing among men in your community.
